Tennis - Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has been named the winner of the Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award while her Fed Cup teammate Lucie Safarova has won the Peachy Kellmeyer Player Service Award. This is the second time that Kvitova has won the award, which goes to players for their player's professionalism, attitude and sense of fair play.
The Czech woman finished won her second Wimbledon title in July this year. Safarova, who reached her first Grand Sla semi-final at Wimbledon, was recognized for supporting fellow players through the WTA Players' Council and other initiatives.
The awards were based on votes by the players themselves. Here is a look at what Kvitova has been up to in the off-season.
