Tennis: All the seeded players in action on Wednesday, including former top 10 players Andrea Petkovic and Dominika Cibulkova have gone through and booked their places in the Quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Diamond Games in Antwerp. Third seed Andrea Petkovic survived a scare as she saved 7 match points on her way to the victory against the Belgian wildcard Alison Van Uytvanck.
Petkovic lost the first set 6-7 and was 5-6 down on her serve in the second set when she saved 7 match points before winning the second set in tie-break. She easily won the third set 6-2. This year's Australian Open semifinalist Dominika Cibulkova eased past the Ukrainian qualifier Kateryna Bondarenko in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
Fifth seed Carla Suarez Navarro dropped the first set 1-6 against Camila Giorgi but won next two sets 6-2, 6-4 to go through.
