Until a couple of weeks ago it was just a rumour, but now Elina Svitolina has officially confirmed it. The Ukranian trained with Belgian Justine Henin a few weeks ago in Abu Dhabi. However she is not entirely sure whether Henin will follow her in 2016.
According to Svitolina, the two still have to discuss about the possibility of working together next year. "It is good to have something fresh but still I’ve been working a lot with my coach (Iain Hughes) and he’s brought a lot to my game - said Svitolina to Sport360 - So we will see how it will go with Justine.
Of course it’s going to be an amazing opportunity because she’s such a great champion". Svitolina won four titles in career: in Pune 2012 beating Kimiko Date Krumm, the following year defeating in the final Shahar Peer in Baku, in 2014 always in Baku against Bojana Jovanoski and this year she won Marrakesh beating Timea Babos.
However her best result are the Roland Garros quarter-finals reached this year: Ana Ivanovic stopped her dream winning 6/3 6/2. A few weeks ago Svitolina described her "motivated" to improve. Surely alongside Henin can do it.
