World No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska Pulls Out of Stanford due to Right Hand Injury

Tennis - World No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska has pulled out of the Bank of the West Classic WTA event in Stanford due to a right hand injury. The Polish right hander lost in the fourth round of Wimbledon to Dominka Cibulkova in a tight three-setter.

Radwanska lost in the quarter-finals of the WTA Stanford event last year to German Angelique Kerber. With the Polish player pulling out, Venus Williams is the next highest ranked player in the draw and is likely to be the top seed.

Williams lost in the semi-finals of Wimbledon - her first Grand Slam semi-final in six years. Cibulkova and Britwoman Johanna Konta are also in the draw. The tournament is held from July 18 to July 24. Also Read: Agnieszka Radwanska's Mother Comments on Her Nude Photo Shoot
