WTA Tianjin, outdoor hard-courts (9-15 October) It will be a full Asian swing for Petra Kvitova. The Czech will play four events in a row: Tokyo, Wuhan, Pechino and also Tianjin where she leads the field. There are also the defending champion Shuai Peng, Lesia Tsurenko, the 2014 winner and last year's finalist Alison Riske.
But the main star will obviously be Maria Sharapova, who will play in the main draw through a wild card, one of the ten ones she was granted this year.
