Former world no. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, who is no longer ranked in the worlds top 10, is the top seed at this weeks KDB Korea Open as the Dane will attempt to win her first title in 13 months. Wozniacki is coming off a disappointing US Open where she was beaten in the first round last month.
She plays Dutch girl Arantxa Rus in the first round. On the other side of the draw is No.2 seed Maria Kirilenko, who is ranked a career high no. 12. She plays wildcard Lee So-Ra in the first round, and either Tamira Paszek or Carla Suárez Navarro in the second round.
The otehr seeds in the evnt are Kaia Kanepi, Nadia Petrova, Julia Goerges, Varvara Lepchenko, Klara Zakopalova and Ekaterina Makarova. Maria Jose Sanchez Martinez is the defending champion this week and is also competing here.
