Simona Halep announced the arrival of Artemon-Apostu Efremov, the new coach that will help Darren Cahill and the rest of the team bring the Wimbledon champion into shape both physically and mentally for the 2020 season. Halep shared the news on all her social media accounts, sprinkling each of them with funny comments.
“Welcome to the madhouse, Arti! Happy to have you in the team”, Simona said on her Twitter account. The post was accompanied by a couple of pictures with team Halep.

In his quite short training career, Efremov trained a lot of Romanian WTA players — Irina Begu, Mihaela Buzărnescu, Raluca Olaru and Elena Bogdan — but he also trained Radu Albot, a player who stands in top 50 ATP players.
While she undergoes a good training regime from Darren Cahill and his colleagues in Dubai, Simona has her eyes on the Adelaide tournament, which is scheduled to start on 11th January. Simona shared the news on social media, the same place where she is expected to announce any wedding novelties regarding her engagement with Toni Iuruc.
"I will be sure to share any happy news with you about a future engagement!", was Halep's message for her fans some weeks ago. The message followed a clarification of the fake news about the Romanian's relationship with her boyfriend.
