Antalya: wind brings back a wrong forehand on the court!

Did you think you had seen them all? Probably a point of this type was missing from the long collection of sensational winners obtained by tennis players on the court. The absurd situation occurred at the 2021 ATP Challenger in Antalya, during the second round of the competition, with a unexpected protagonist: the wind.

In really prohibitive conditions, with very strong and tireless gusts of wind, the match was played between Lee Duck-hee and Fabian Marozsan, with the latter winning the most daring exchange of the match and of the tournament, even if he then lost the match with a score of 6-4, 6-1.

During a point, the Hungarian hit a forehand that remained incredibly on the court due to a powerful wind. The play surprised both players, so much so that the Korean was unable to send the ball back to the other side. The video of what happened in Turkey.
