ATP Delray Beach 2022: Norrie vs Opelka's HIGHLIGHTS

The final in Delray Beach is decided at the tiebreak: Cameron Norrie triumphs with a double 7-6 in a match without a break and where service reigned. Home idol Reilly Opelka falls into the house.

Marseille and Rio

A little surprise also stops the positive streak of the young and talented Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime who loses his tenth final out of eleven played in his career and falls against the Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev, at his first success in 2022.

The two lived through different periods of form and everyone expected Felix to exploit, but in the end it was the Russian who triumphed in two sets, with a sharp 7-5; 7-6. In the first set the Canadian starts well, immediately goes 2-0, but Rublev makes the counter break.

The two keep their serve until the eleventh game where Auger loses his serve to zero and Rublev closes 7-5. In the second part the two go to alternate phases and appear discontinuous, Rublev fails to close while Felix is not in his best version, we arrive at the tiebreak with Rublev dominating and thus taking home his ninth career title.

Carlos Alcaraz is even more in history. The very young Spanish tennis player has set one of the first records of what promises to be an extraordinary career, becoming the youngest player to win an ATP 500 tournament since this record was established.

The Spaniard also reaches his Best Ranking becoming number 20 in the world and anticipating the times even more. Diego Schwartzman offers a good performance but can do nothing against the tenacity and power of the young Spaniard, solid as never before this week.

The Argentine starts well and goes straight to 2-0, but it is the only real flicker of the match with Alcaraz who responds immediately and gets the decisive break in the ninth game. The second set sees Carlos raise the pace while the Argentine feels the blow and in a short time is immediately down 4 to 1, the match in just under an hour and a half ends with the result of 6-4 6-2
