Carlos Alcaraz continues to amaze. Talent mixed with courage and tenacity and the Spanish champion continues to grow and seems destined to climb further the ATP rankings soon. The 19-year-old Iberian has reached the semifinals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid where he will face world number one Novak Djokovic.
His idol and countryman Rafael Nadal was defeated after a great battle, returning after weeks off due to injury. Alcaraz appeared more brilliant and in the course of the challenge he became the protagonist of a fantastic shot that left Nadal standing and reminded everyone (probably Nadal himself) of a point that only the best Roger Federer made.
