Matteo Berrettini reached the final at the ATP 500 Queen's tournament for the second year in a row by beating Botic van de Zandschulp in two sets. The Italian played an excellent match and managed the interruption caused by the rain in the second set in the best possible way.
The last obstacle between the last season Wimbledon finalist and the defense of the title won last year on the lawns of the Queen's Club bears the name and surname of Filip Krajinovic. The Serbian will be the opponent that the Italian will find today afternoon in the London grass-court event final.
After the success obtained against Van de Zandschulp, Berrettini received a marriage proposal from a spectator present in the stands. The response of the tennis player born in 1996 was a lot of fun: "Let me think about it!" Berrettini, as we well know, will not defend the point at the Wimbledon Slam, after the several decision made by Wimbledon board, ATP, WTA and ITF.
