With a little more pain and time, Novak Djokovic made his official debut in the 2022 edition of Wimbledon. The Korean Kwon did not give up immediately to the strength of the Serbian, even snatching the second set and trying in every way to make his life difficult in the third and fourth set.
The Belgrade native, however, relied on his experience and talent in order not to extend the game further. The 35-year-old, with the match point brought home, wrote a new page in tennis history: in fact, with the victory in the first round of the competition, he obtained 80 successes in all the Slams (the only one to succeed and the London demonstration was missing).
Now the defending champion will meet the Australian player Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round of this much awaited London Slam. Here is the video released by the Wimbledon Twitter account, with Nole's final celebrations.
