Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the third round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, thanks to his success on Field 2. Another decidedly not easy match against Dutch talent Tallon Griekspoor, this time the 19-year-old was very solid at every crucial moment and didn't concede a single set.
The Spaniard is proving to have a good confidence on grass, a surface on which he has played very few matches, and to be able to express his 'usual' style of play, which is very often amused by the crowd. The Iberian champion managed to win a beautiful exchange during the match, quickly going down to the net to counter the short ball of his opponent and closing the point with a shot that kissed the line.
This is a great chance for the Spanish young champion to try to get a great result at Wimbledon. Here is the video released by the Wimbledon Twitter account.
