Corentin Moutet really surprised everyone during the round of 16 at the ATP 250 in Naples. The Frenchman suddenly decided to stop the match against Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic, in which he was 5-3 down in the first set, and to retire due to conditions considered by him to be at the limit and quite dangerous.

The 23-year-old, before going to talk with the chair umpire, he threw a racket against the wall for the nervousness of having lost a point. With the near fight at the Challenger in Orleans filed away, Moutet is back to being talked about in the major circuit with this episode.
