Carlos Alcaraz hit a truly incredible point during the first round at the Roland Garros, which left Italian tennis player Flavio Cobolli virtually no way out. The shot amazed and exalted the crowd in the stands, who rightly applauded him for his magic.

A shot which remember Roger Federer. The Spanish tennis player played a precise dropshot, the Italian went to the net and used the weapon of the counter-bucket to try and surprise the world number one. The Iberian sent the ball over the net, thus imitating the Swiss champion Roger Federer, and brought home the point with great style and talent.

Nothing to do for Flavio Cobolli in the very difficult match against the talented 20-year-old native of Murcia, who made things clear right from the start of the match. A clear initial 6-0 paved the way for Carlos, who also won the second set quite clearly.

The Italian, with his back to the wall, reacted above all in the third set, taking the set to the advantage: at that point, in the most crucial moment, Alcaraz expressed his full potential and snatched the serve from his opponent to triumph 7-5.

A beautiful and formative experience for Cobolli in this Roland Garros, after successfully passing the qualifying tournament. The journey has just begun for the Spaniard: in the second round, scheduled for Wednesday 31 May, he will have to deal with the Japanese Taro Daniel.

Djokovic and Sinner

In the other matches, Novak Djokovic made no mistake in his debut: victory against Alexander Kovacevic in three sets, with the result 6-3, 6-2, 7-6.

The Serbian tennis player had a good approach to the match, but as the minutes went by he became more and more nervous, losing concentration in the most important moment, in the third set, when he was about to end the game.

Jannik Sinner begins the adventure at Roland Garros with a victory. On Monday's evening session on Philippe-Chatrier, the South Tyrolean immediately asserted himself against the Frenchman Alexandre Muller obtaining a success that can give confidence in view of challenges with a higher coefficient of difficulty.
