Jannik Sinner triumphed in Toronto, winning the first ATP Masters 1000 of his very young career at the National Bank Open. The Italian tennis player has repeatedly demonstrated his talent, since more than a few years ago, he triumphed at the NextGen Atp Finals.
On that occasion he got the better of Alex De Minaur and now, just over four years later, Jannik has beaten the Australian in the most important triumph of his career. Both in Grand Slam tournaments and in ATP Masters 1000, the Italian always reached the final stages, but struggled against the top players, this time also due to the crisis of the main seeds of the tournament, Jannik took the opportunity and won his first major tournament in his career.
A dominated and historyless final.

In the first set Alex tried to come back on a couple of occasions, but as against Berrettini and Paul, Jannik got the decisive break in the tenth game.
The second set saw Sinner immediately move forward and De Minaur surrendering to the technical and physical overwhelming power of his opponent, thus Sinner wins the tournament and becomes number six in the world. But in addition to the victory, many appreciated Jannik's respect and not excessive way of celebrating, with De Minaur who is a great friend of his and the Italian almost stopped his exultation.
During the award ceremony, images of Sinner went around the web intent on playing and smiling with a dog, probably a member of his team. The images are very tender and many have posted the video, here is the Italian's show and his splendid smile:
