Andrey Rublev has been disqualified from the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after insulting a young line judge! a sensational ending to the match between the Russian and the Kazakh Alexander Bublik, which ended in the worst possible way for the emotional Russian tennis player.

Rublev, after losing the break lead in the decisive set, began to get nervous and show his dissatisfaction. At 5-5 the situation degenerated. Rublev approached one of the line judges and shouted something in Russian about a bad call on him.

During the changeover, two line judges approached the referee and also asked the tournament supervisor.

The second judge communicated the serious words that Rublev allegedly addressed to his colleague, resulting in his immediate disqualification. According to what the person in question stated, Rublev's insults would have been truly serious.

Supervisor and chair umpire decided to disqualify the Russian just on the eve of the tie-break. Bublik expressed his willingness to continue the match to save Rublev, but the rules do not allow this possibility in such situations.

The Kazakh is therefore the first finalist of the Dubai tournament and he will await the winner of the challenge between Daniil Medvedev and Ugo Humbert.
