The quarterfinal match won by Jannik Sinner against Tomas Machac thrilled the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium thanks to one of the best rallies and points won of the season.

Sinner reached the semifinals at the ATP Masters 1000 in Miami, his seventh semifinal in an ATP Masters 1000 and continues to achieve excellent results. Against a treacherous opponent like the Czech, Jannik dominated the match without any particular worries and closed with a clear result of 6-4 6-2.

During the match Sinner won some sensational points. One of the best points was certainly the one that saw Jannik defend himself against Machac and ended with a sensational backhand pass that left the whole crowd stunned.

Let's look at it together:

Sinner now awaits Daniil Medvedev

Sinner achieved 20 victories out of 21 seasonal matches played, with an impressive performance, which once again shows his mental strength, which emerges in moments when his physical level is not at 100% of his possibilities.

Now for him the rematch of the Australian Open final against Daniil Medvedev. In fact, the Russian defeated the Chilean Nicolas Jarry in the quarter-finals.

Jannik appeared better than in his last outings and will now also have a day of rest to recover energy and be at his best against Medvede.
However, the challenge against Medvedev promises to be very tough.

The Russian has a great desire to avenge what happened in Melbourne and in case of victory over the Chilean he will give everything to surprise Jannik. However, everyone dreams of the feat and dreams of the long-awaited final (and Indian Wells rematch) against Carlos Alcaraz. A rivalry that everyone sees as a legacy between that between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
