Thanks to the tenth victory in a row obtained on grass-courts, Matteo Berrettini became the second Italian in history to reach the semifinals on the lawns of the All England Club: before him only Nicola Pietrangeli had succeeded in 1960.
Berrettini once again showed his solidity in the serve and his great mental strength, and beat Felix Auger-Aliassime with the score of 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-3. Semifinal against Hubert Hurkacz, who defeated Roger Federer for 6-3 7-6 (5) 6-0.
