Novak Djokovic trains on hard court: waiting for the US Open news

Novak Djokovic is waiting to discover his fate in view of the next prestigious events on hard-courts. Despite a new long stop from official competitions is expected, due to the anti-Covid rules currently in force in Canada and the United States of America.

The Serbian is sure not to compete in the Montreal Master 1000 and fears the same fate for Cincinnati and the US Open, if the government does not decide to allow unvaccinated foreigners to enter the country. Meanwhile, the Belgrade native tries to keep fit on hard-courts in Portonovi, in Montenegro, waiting to understand what his next sporting event will be.

In view of the Atp Finals, the 35-year-old will have to place among the top 20 of the Race classification to play at the PalaAlpitour in Turin, given the victory of a Grand Slam in the season, at Wimbledon. In the next days should come some news about his US Open's presence.
