Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, the first two players in the ATP ranking and the main attraction of ATP Cup’s final between Team Serbia and Team Spain, stepped up and announced a grand donation of 725,000 Australian dollars to help the bushfire relief efforts.

The donation was made by ATP on behalf of the players. Novak Djokovic made the big announcement, but Nadal was right next to him. The funds will go to World Wildlife Australia and the Natural Recovery Fund.

“ATP is going to donate, on behalf of the players, 725,000 Australian dollars to World Wildlife Fund and I hope that this contribution, this donation makes a difference.

Thank you very much!” said Novak Djokovic while Rafael Nadal could be seen clapping and backing up the Serbian’s words among the loud ovations coming from the stands. “
