Tennis - Philippine tennis player Miko Eala had the chance of a lifetime as he got to hit with tennis legend Rafael Nadal at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy in Spain where he and his sister, Alex, have been training. Eala shared a post on his Facebook page where he shared the excitement about getting a chance to play with the 19-time Grand Slam winnner.
Eala posted a video of his session with the tennis legend in which he says, "HUUUUGE day for me yesterday as I got to hit with Rafa Nadal! If you listen closely you can hear me grunting haha....ang bigat ng bola 😅 #ILoveGlobe #RafaNadalAcademy
#ThankYouRafa 📷 IG: rafaelnadal_" With Nadal withdrawing from the US Open in New York, he is seen playing on the clay courts as he hopes to return to the circuit on the clay courts.
The 18 year old Eala is expected to play for Penn State University in the US NCAA Division I league after his high school graduation at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy. His sister Alex Eala won the Australian Open junior doubles titles in January and also trains at the Nadal academy.
