Roger Federer named “King of the Court” in new US Open video story

Ahead of the 2022 US Open edition, the organizers of the American Grand Slam released a video story named “Roger Federer: King of Court” that shows the Swiss Maestro’s road to the 5 titles obtained at Flushing Meadows.

“The amazing story of how Roger Federer won five consecutive US Open titles, cementing his place as a tennis and sporting great,” US Open captioned the video story uploaded to YouTube. The US Open is the year's final Grand Slam, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu won the men's and, respectively, women's singles championships at the 2021 US Open. It was both players' first major title, with Raducanu, 18, being the first qualifier to do so. The 2022 US Open is set to take place from August 23 to September 11.
