Roger Federer takes care of Murray's bleeding knee: "Gentle! This is Sir Andy"

After Andy Murray fell on the court in a Laver Cup doubles match, Roger Federer made sure the doctor was cleaning up well the Scottish player's wound. Murray was accompanied by Matteo Berrettini in their clash against Team World's Jack Sock and Felix Auger-Alliasime.

Here is the dialogue between Roger Federer, Andy Murray, and the doctor:

  • Andy Murray: "my skin is on the court here."
  • Roger Federer: "do you need any salt for that? or sand?"
  • Andy Murray: (makes grimace)
  • Roger Federer [to the doc]: "gentle!

This is Sir Andy Murray, okay? Be gentle with him!"

Before helping the doctor clean up Murray's wound, Federer grimaced backstage after he saw Murray falling down on the court.
