Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will compete at the Match for Africa 6, in an incredible charity event tonight in Cape Town, South Africa. They will raise funds for the Roger Federer Foundation's projects to support the education of African children.
The Swiss champion can't wait to take the court against his historical friend and rival. Through his Instagram account, Federer showed the images of the court (the Cape Town Stadium) that will host the event, joking with Nadal: “We chose this orange color for Rafa, but it is a very fast surface”.
Federer and Nadal also competed in 2010 for the Match for Africa, in Zurich and Madrid, but this year, in a court that can host up to 50,000 people, they managed to write a new crowd record for a single tennis match. The prediction of a new crowd record for a tennis match could exceed that set by the performance between Federer and Zverev in Mexico City in front of over 42,000 people.
Tickets sold out quickly in ten minutes as soon as they went on sale.
