Stan Wawrinka misses the crowd, shares “Federer is not here” moment

.As Stan Wawrinka took a first glance of the Roland Garros complex and the main stadium, the empty seats made him share the message “I miss the crowd so much” along with a piece of footage from Australian Open when a fan of Roger Federer interrupted his serve with an out-of-nowhere cheer for the Swiss Maestro.

Wawrinka was together with his only remaining coach, Daniel Vallverdu.

As you may know, Stan Wawrinka parted ways with Magnus Norman ahead of Roland Garros. The Swiss player opened his campaign at the French Open on Sunday, defeating Andy Murray in three sets, after a very solid performance.

Wawrinka secured his place in the second round wheree he will now face rising German Dominik Koepfer, who recently reached the quarterfinals in Rome, losing in a very tight match against Novak Djokovic.
