Serena Williams, the 38-year-old red-letter with 23 Grand slams titles, just two shy of Margaret court’s 25 major titles, recently makes a maverick turnaround of her career and grabs her first major title as a mother.
Experience of being a mother and winning a major title could be divine but was it easy? Speaking of her partnership with an American brand of baby and toddler products, Pampers, key to a blissful and pluperfect marriage with Alexis Ohanian alongside some of her daughter Olympia’s momentous childhood milestones, Serena, the undisputed Champion of the courts opened up in an interview with a press agency late on Friday (February 7th) unveiling how she and her little Olympia were doing in their latest partnership with Pampers.
While being asked about the reason behind a partnership with Pampers which involved the launch of a new song “Pampers Wild Child Wiggle” as a promo, Serena Williams said, “Children can learn from the songs, dance along and actually enjoy them.
It's like a kids' song craze and everyone enjoys having that in their life and I obviously use Pampers 360, they've been amazing and especially amazing for me as a mom on-the-go,” adding it was a ‘perfect match’.
At some point of the Friday’s interview with E! News, while Serena was being asked to tell about her little daughter’s most recent milestone, the sedulous American tennis sensation was quoted saying her little Olympia’s first word was ‘Momma!’.
Over the funny side, Serena Williams said it was hard for Alexis to accept Olympia’s first word was ‘Momma,’ adding it was okay for Alexis now since Olympia began to call him ‘Dadda’ and Alexis waited for it every night before hitting the sacks.
Meanwhile, answering to a question on how she and Alex could feel the connexion despite having their hands full every now and then, Serena Williams replied, “It takes a lot of time and effort. He travels a lot. It's about having great communication and understanding.
And above all, it's all about [being] loving. That's the most important quality anytime, and it covers everything. We FaceTime a lot. We have prayer time at night. That's really special. We always do that; we try not to miss it a lot.
” Besides, when asked what she would ask for herself this year, Serena added, “For myself, to keep doing what I'm doing and to be a positive addition to the world. I want positivity. There is so much negativity in the world, I think people want more positivity. To say what I want for the world is hard. I only hope for the best. ”
