In order to honour the International Women’s Day, US-based sportswear manufacturer Nike Inc. had released an inspirational advertisement on March 8th, the International Women’s Day, which had included the iconic American tennis legend, Serena Williams who has 23 major titles beside her name, just two shy of Margaret Court’s all-time-best 25 Grand Slams.
On top of that, Nike Inc.’s one-minute advertisement clip narrated that one day the women of the world would not require International Women’s Day to remind the roles of women empowerment in the society because a level playing field for the women might not be far behind.
Besides, the narrator said in the Nike Inc. advertisement aired on March 8th, “One day, we won’t need this day. We won’t need a day to celebrate how far we’ve come.
We won’t need a day to prove we’re just as fast or strong or skilled. We won’t need a day to relive the comebacks, the firsts or the titles we’ve won. We won’t need a day to rally behind the ones fighting to change the rules.
One day, we won’t need this day at all. Because one day this day will be our every day. ”
