Blinded ATP player hits face against wall before entering court

ATP world number 218 Evan Furness hit his head against a wall before entering the court for a match at the Open de Rennes, a tournament on the ATP Challenger circuit. A tennis fan labeled the moment "the best entrance of the year."

Furness got eliminated in the second round of the Rennes Open by Gregoire Barrere.

Another painful moment happened during this year's US Open. Trying to catch a tennis ball coming from the court, a female US Open fan fell on stairs at a match and hit her head. According to Eurosport, the fan is alright.

“Ouch (Twitter reliably informs us that she’s okay!),” Eurosport captioned the video. Watch the latter moment in this article: US Open fan falls on stairs head-on trying to catch tennis ball
