ATP world number 218 Evan Furness hit his head against a wall before entering the court for a match at the Open de Rennes, a tournament on the ATP Challenger circuit. A tennis fan labeled the moment "the best entrance of the year."

Another painful moment happened during this year's US Open. Trying to catch a tennis ball coming from the court, a female US Open fan fell on stairs at a match and hit her head. According to Eurosport, the fan is alright. “Ouch (Twitter reliably informs us that she’s okay!),” Eurosport captioned the video.
