Match-fixing is a scourge that created a lot of problems for tennis over the last few years, which undermines the basis of integrity of tennis and sport in general, and which often involves, despite themselves, players who are totally unrelated to match-fixing, as happened to Novak Djokovic.

In 2008 the Tennis Integrity Unit was founded after a long and extensive investigation, to impose sanctions on all parties involved in the match-fixing. In Janurary 2016 Djokovic was asked about his thoughts on match fixing.

Novak Djokovic talked for the first time about being offered $ 200,000 to fix a match, 10 years ago.
