This year Indian Wells had to face the spread of the coronavirus, the cancellation and all the problems related to it, but exactly ten years ago, the center court of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden hosted a legendary doubles match between Roger Federer and Pete Sampras against Rafael Nadal and Andre Agassi.
Today these four legends have a total of 61 Slams titles (Federer 20, Nadal 19, Sampras 14, Agassi 8) and, on that occasion, they played a charity match for the populations affected by the terrible earthquake in Haiti, in 2010.
The match was amazing, full of spectacular shots and with funny moments (especially between Sampras and Agassi, protagonist of super rivalry between '90s and eraly years of '2000). Federer and Sampras won 8-6. In this video the full version of the match.
These days without tennis, this can be a good time for fun.
