Two-time major winner Naomi Osaka has taken to the courts wearing a mask with a different name for each of her matches during this US Open fortnight. After her win on Tuesday, Osaka was shown a video message from the families of Trayvon Martin and Ahmaud Arbery, two of the names she had worn on her mask during her earlier matches this fortnight.
In her press conference later, Osaka said watching the video message was very emotional and made her feel really grateful and humbled Here's a look at the video.
"I feel like I'm a vessel at this point in order to spread awareness."
