The men's results
Daniil Medvedev doesn't stop anymore. The Russian champion has won three tournaments in the last three weeks and is now advancing undisturbed also in the Indian Wells Masters 1000. The fall and the physical problems had made his fans tremble but after the painful victory over Zverev Daniil returns to win by settling a tenacious Davidovich Fokina without particular problems.
The Spaniard doesn't give up and the Russian wins thanks to a break per set with the result of 6-3;7-5. Rocket start by Daniil who immediately takes 3 to 0, manages things and goes on without problems in the serve, thus closing the first set very quickly.
In the second set the Spaniard returns to the match, he has several break points to take the lead but it is Medvedev who conquers the decisive break in the eleventh game and thus closes the match 6-3 7-5. The former world number one will face the American tennis player Frances Tiafoe in the semifinals, an athlete who appeared very fit and who reached the semifinals of the tournament.
Straight victory of Tiafoe over the British Cameron Norrie, winner with a double 6-4. In the first set, a break in the usual seventh game is enough to close the games while the eclectic American and the British 'fight each other like hell' in the second set, several breaks on each side and fight to the last with Tiafoe who returns to the his Best Ranking, which will certainly improve in case of victory in the semifinals.
