In November 2014, she climbed for the first time into the Top 100. That year she reached at the Us Open the second round for the first time in a major: she still awaits her first 3r showing.

In 2016, she posted a 14-1 record between March–May on the ITF Circuit, winning $50k ITF/Quanzhou-CHN and $100k ITF/Shenzhen-CHN, and finishing runner-up at $75k ITF/Gifu-JPN. She  ended 2016 at No.70 after reaching quarterfinals in Shenzhen (l. A.Radwanska), Kuala Lumpur (l. Zhu), Hong Kong (l. Wozniacki) and at WTA 125k Series event at Dalian (l. Min) .

In 2017, she won the biggest title of career in April, at WTA 125K Series event in Zhengzhou (d. Peng in F). She also reached quarter-finals in Shenzhen (l. Giorgi), at Premier-level Dubai (l. Sevastova) and International-level Kuala Lumpur (l. Han). She climbed into the Top 50 following Rome run and celebrated in Madrid the R16 (l. The Chinese enjoyed a successful Asian swing, reaching the semifinals in Hong Kong (l-Pavlyuchenkova), the quarterfinals at Tokyo [Japan Open] (l. Fett), and R16 in Wuhan (l. Ka.Pliskova).
