
Mardy Fish is a tennis coach and former US tennis player, former number 1 in America.
Fish won six tournaments on the ATP Tour in his career and reached the final of four Masters Series events: in Cincinnati in 2003 and 2010, in Indian Wells in 2008 and in Montreal in 2011. In the Grand Slam he reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open in 2007, the US Open 2008 and Wimbledon in 2011. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, Fish took the silver medal.
In April 2011, Fish surpassed compatriot Andy Roddick to become the American No. 1 in the ATP rankings, reaching his best ranking of world No. 7.
He retired in 2015 after the US Open. In January 2019, Fish replaced Jim Courier as captain of the USA Davis Cup team.
