Pat Cash

Pat Cash is an Australian tennis coach and former tennis player who won Wimbledon in 1987. On the major circuit he won a total of 6 singles and 11 doubles titles, as well as two editions of the Davis Cup in 1983 and 1986. His best ATP rankings were 4th in singles in May 1988 and 6th in doubles in August 1984.

Environmentalist and supporter of Greenpeace, he is a big fan of rock music. Endowed with great affability, he loved to spend a long time with his interlocutors and on social occasions. Known for his great temperament, not only on the tennis courts, some of his behaviors have created embarrassment and his relations with the press have been problematic, which he accused of having dealt incorrectly and excessively with his private life.

At the beginning of his career, still very young, Pat Jr. had a relationship with the Norwegian model Anne-Britt Kristiansen, with whom he had two children. In 1990 he married Emily Bendit, with whom he had twin boys Shannon and Jett in 1994; the couple divorced in 2002 and afterward Cash often had significant financial problems, but always found a way to solve them.
