Dan Evans

Daniel Evans was born in Birmingham on May 23, 1990, and is a British tennis player.

He won an ATP title, the Murray River Open in 2021, in his third singles final. In 2015 he was part of the British Davis Cup winning team. Lui reached his best ranking of 22nd on September 27, 2021, and his career-high doubles ranking on April 26, 2021 at number 52.

Evans grew up in the Hall Green area of Birmingham, his father an electrician, his mother a nurse, and he has two older sisters. He started playing squash at the age of seven with his father in Solihull and discovered tennis by chance a couple of years later at the age of 10 and began training at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham.

At the age of 13, Evans moved to Loughborough to live with a host family while he trained at the LTA academy at Loughborough University. Of his time at Loughborough, he said: 'I was never the best at 14 and 15, in fact, I was probably the worst. bravo and in the end I was the best."
