
Rohan Bopanna is a tennis player who specializes in doubles, a specialty in which he won several major circuit titles and reached the finals at the 2010 US Open and the 2012 and 2015 ATP World Tour Finals.
He also won the mixed doubles title at Roland Garros 2017. His best ATP ranking in the specialty was 3rd place on July 22, 2013, while in singles he did not go beyond the 213th position on July 23, 2007.
He has long partnered with the Pakistani Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi trying to raise awareness in their respective countries towards the cessation of hostilities. The double, active from 2007 to 2011, then reunited in 2014 and 2021; for this collaboration they have been awarded by several organizations (including an ATP World Tour Awards in 2010).
In Grand Slam he reached the final of the US Open 2010 together with Qureshi, lost against the Bryan twins, and the semifinal of Wimbledon 2013. He made his debut in the Indian Davis Cup team in 2002. Since 2013 he has played almost exclusively in doubles.
