Dustin Johnson

Dustin Hunter Johnson is an American golfer, professional on the PGA Tour.

His partner for years is Paulina Gretzky, with whom he had two children, an American model and singer as well as daughter of the famous Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky.

Equipped with extraordinary physical power and a very powerful swing (with a left wrist at the apex of the swing that is not very academic, but very charged), he is one of the longest players on the circuit, and for three consecutive years (2009-2011) he finished in third place in the middle distance classification.

In January 2018 he won the Sentry Tournament of Champions with 8 shots ahead of the second, bringing to 11 consecutive seasons in which he won at least one tournament. In June of the same year he won the FedEx St. Jude Classic, returning number one in the world, after having handed over the leadership for a few weeks to his compatriot Justin Thomas. In July, he wins the RBC Canadian Open.

In February 2019 he won the WGC Mexico Championship for the second time in three years, bringing his victories in the WGC circuit to 6, second only behind Tiger Woods, a few weeks after winning the Saudi Arabia Open organized by the European Tour.

In June 2020, after the recovery of the PGA Tour from the lockdown period, he won the Travelers Championship for the first time, achieving his twenty-first success on the PGA Tour and bringing the consecutive seasons in which he managed to win at least one title to 13.

In August 2020 he won the Northern Trust again with a record score of -30 under par, ended the season by winning the FedEx Cup for the first time.

On November 15, 2020, he won the Augusta Masters for the first time with a total of 268 (-20) strokes, the lowest score ever achieved in the competition.
