
Marc López, born in Barcelona on July 31, 1982 is a tennis coach and former Spanish tennis player. He reached his highest singles ranking on May 10, 2004, with 106th position, while in doubles he reached 3rd position on January 28, 2013. He was doubles champion at the Roland Garros 2016 with Feliciano López and at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with Rafael Nadal.
He was also a finalist at Roland Garros and at the US Open in 2014 with Marcel Granollers and at the US Open 2017 with López. In December 2021 he made his debut as a coach by joining Rafael Nadal's team and in May of the following year he retired from playing tennis.
He made his debut on the ATP circuit at the 2001 Mercedes Cup where, after passing the qualifications, he reached the semifinals by eliminating, among others, the number 8 seeds, Coria, and 13, Alberto Martín.
However, he gets the best results in doubles where he almost always participates together with fellow countrymen. He won five titles with Rafael Nadal, two with David Marrero, three with Feliciano López and four with Marcel Granollers.
