
Justin Thomas is an American golfer who participates in the PGA Tour. Thomas achieved notoriety in 2017, when he won four PGA Tour events, including the PGA Championship, and earned the title of FedEx Champion.
Thomas turns pro in 2013. He receives the card to play in the WebTour.com through a qualifying tournament. He enters his first pro event with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship in 2014, which he wins. Thomas is fifth in the WebTour.com season standings and third after the WebTour finals; earning the PGA Tour card for the 2015 season.Thomas places 32nd in the FedEx Cup, losing out on the Rookie of the Year Award to Daniel Berger.
On November 1, 2015, Thomas won the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, his first win at a PGA Tour event. He beat Australian Adam Scott by one stroke, avoiding a double bogey by pocketing a 1.8m putt for par . Finishing his second round with 61 strokes, Thomas earns the win with 26 under par.
In October 2017 Thomas won the CJ Cup in South Korea in the playoff against the Australian Marc Leishman. In 2018, Thomas took 1st place at the Honda Classic, played at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. He finished the tournament with 8 strokes under par tied with Luke List. The playoff is disputed and Thomas wins by pocketing the putt for the birdie.
