Michael Llodra

Michael Llodra, born in 1980, takes his most important success by winning the ABN AMRO World tennis Tournament in Rotterdam in 2008, beating Robin Soderling in the final.

On November 3, 2014 he played his last singles match as a professional, defeated (6-2 6-2) by Tobias Kamke, in the Challenger Mouilleron-le-Captive. After the match he said:

"It was my last match. I'm very excited, but also relieved. Now I want to dedicate myself to other things, I want to see my children grow up. In my career I've had the opportunity to realize all the dreams I had as a kid. The last five years have been fantastic, I've won titles, played for my national team and even won the Olympic medal. But there comes a time when it's right to say enough."

On November 5, 2015 he officially declares his retirement.
