
Dominic Stricker was born in Münsingen on August 16, 2002. The Swiss, in 2020 he won the junior edition of the French Open in singles and doubles.
He already achieved excellent results on the ITF Junior Circuit, in which he made his debut in September 2016. He won his first doubles tournament in 2017, a Grade 5 in Lucerne, and won three more before taking his first singles title in November 2018 in a Grade 2 in Haifa. In the following period he won two more minor tournaments in singles and another three in doubles. The first important result in a Grade A comes in June 2019, when he lost partnered with Flavio Cobolli in the final of the doubles tournament at the French Open.
He debuted with a professional doubles defeat in February 2019 at the ITF M25 Oberentfelden tournament, the intense junior activity allowed him to return to play in November, when he reached the doubles semifinal at the M15 Sarreguemines. He comes back towards the end of the summer to play two ITFs, again in doubles, and doesn't go beyond the semifinal at the M15 Caslano.
He begins 2023 missing access to the main draw of the Australian Open, at the Rovereto Challenger he beats Giulio Zeppieri in the final and wins his 4th Challenger title.
