
Lukasz Kubot is a Polish tennis player, at the beginning of 2018 first in the ATP world doubles ranking. In the singles rankings he reached a maximum of 41st position. In singles his best result in a slam is the quarterfinal reached at the 2013 Wimbledon Tournament, while in doubles he won two titles, the 2014 Australian Open with Robert Lindstedt and the 2017 Wimbledon Tournament with Marcelo Melo, with which he reached also the final at the US Open 2018.
In singles, a specialty he abandoned in 2016, Kubot reached the 41st world position, two ATP finals and the quarterfinals at Wimbledon 2013.
In 2015 he inaugurated the partnership with Marcelo Melo, with whom he triumphed in a total of 15 ATP tournaments, among which the 2017 Wimbledon Tournament stands out, as well as four Masters 1000, also reaching the final at the 2018 US Open.
At the end of 2020 Kubot and Melo they separate, but both achieve poor results. In 2021, after collaborating occasionally in Dubai in March, they get back together starting from Roland Garros up to the US Open, reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon as their best result.
