Lisa Raymond

Lisa Raymond is an American tennis coach and former tennis player who predominantly played as a doubles player. In fact, she boasts most of her victories in this specialty (11 victories in the Grand Slam of which 6 in women's doubles and 5 in mixed doubles), including the bronze medal in mixed doubles at the London Olympic tournament in 2012 paired with Mike Bryan; Openly lesbian, she was long romantically linked to her doubles partner, Australian Rennae Stubbs.

Her best ranking in doubles is the 1st place reached on 12 June 2000, while in singles she boasts the 15th place reached in October 1997. In the latter specialty she counts the victory in 4 tournaments and the elimination of titled opponents such as Venus Williams and Martina Hingis.

She has been a professional since 1993, with her presence at the 2011 US Open she set the record for consecutive participations in this tournament, played for the first time in 1989 by her as an amateur, although in terms of total participations she is second behind Martina Navratilova.
