Louis Oosthuizen is a South African golfer.

At the beginning of his career he was financially supported for three years by the foundation created by his famous compatriot Ernie Els. He won numerous amateur tournaments before turning pro in 2002 at the age of 19. He achieved his most important result in July 2010, when he won the first major of his career by imposing himself in the British Open. Overall in his career he has won 7 professional tournaments, five of which belong to the Sunshine Tour.
