The European Open is a tennis tournament part of the ATP Tour 250 played on the hard courts of the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium. This tournament replaced the one in Valencia. The first edition was played from 17 to 23 October 2016.
Andy Murray won an unforgettable final, in autumn 2019, beating Stan Wawrinka in the final by 3-6 6-4 6-4. That was the first title won by the British star since a serious hip injury in 2017, which put his glorious career at risk.
The last two editions have been won by two young super stars: Jannik Sinner in 202, against Diego Schwartzman, and Félix Auger-Aliassime against Sebastian Korda, in 2022.
